An Essential oil is an Aromatic material which is extracted directly from nature (Plant). The extraction or Distillation of essential oil is an age- old Art. It is extremely labor intensive. There are only A few places in the world where the plants can be grown in large Quantities, and the work force hired at a low enough cost to support our Industry.

Generally, Essential oils should be the “True, 100% active raw material from the natural source.

In the last century when essential oils were still affordable, they formed the basis of great perfumes. As demand for fragrance grew, the supply of essential oils could not keep pace. Prices skyrocketed. The world’s perfumers were forced to adapt, learning to re-create nature through a blend of natural and synthetic raw materials.

HOW TO IDENTIFY ESSENTIAL OIL’S

Natural oils are extremely consistent in the way they ‘Age” in open air. If you test oil on a strip of paper over a period of time, there is virtually no change. Blends of essential oils may confuse you since natural oils change their properties when blended.
